Friday: Studio Culture: Design Museum
A very valuable couple of hours! Spin and Build gave great all-rounder advice - from studio names, what to remember when setting up a studio, to how many internship applications are received each day (gasp!). I wanted to stay longer to see everyone but was too excited for my adventure to the bottom of the Shard to begin (pictures to follow soon).
I couldn't leave without buying the Studio Culture book, above - its tasty isn't it! Its a good read and I like nosing through everyones studios very much. I've got to say, both Spin and Build didn't 'pretty' the industry up and I admire them for that. I felt quite motivated actually, and refreshed having been home from uni for around a month it was nice to hear and be in the company of designers again.
